I am the Hunter
May 1, 2010
Finally we’ve reached the end of NaPoWriMo – Day 30. Read Write Poem have given us a free day to write whatever we feel like. Mine is about losing stuff.
This month has been crazy, wonderful, inspiring and exhausting and I look forward to recovering for a while with my head in a book, then coming back some time in May to check out all the new prompt sites. Thanks to Read Write Poem for being so awesome, you’ll be sorely missed and dearly remembered. Thanks to everyone who provided the prompts – they were all great, no matter how much I swore at them at the time! Also, thank you so much to everyone who commented on my poems, it’s been really wonderful to have you around :)

Such a clever verse…and one most of us can identify with….I wrote another note about your poem…but I can’t find it. :-) Many thanks for your poems!

“Carpeted plains” is wonderful. This ingenious poem is one we all relate to. I have enjoyed reading your work and will continue to follow your blog. Happy days …

Joanne, my attention can’t stay long on the literal, so I went at once to the hunting for the poem, the right word combinations that you might have intended. Your work inspires me, as you seemed to have figured out so much of who you are and what you have to say. Thank you.
